The mission of the Ovarian Cancer Coalition of Central South Carolina (OCCCSC) is to save
lives by fighting tirelessly to prevent and cure ovarian cancer and to improve the quality of life
for Survivors. Through national programs and local OCCCSC chapter initiatives, the OCCCSC’s
goal is to educate communities and increase awareness about the symptoms of ovarian cancer.
The OCCCSC also provides information to assist newly-diagnosed patients, hope to Survivors,
and support to caregivers. The OCCCSC is also committed to the advancement of ovarian cancer
Chappell Smith & Arden is committed to reaching women in communities nationwide who need
vital information about this awful disease. We encourage you to join us. Together, we can make
a difference in the lives of women, families, and communities touched by ovarian cancer.
Please be aware our 5th Annual Teal Day 5k will be taking place virtually on September 26th, due to the continued health threat from COVID-19. You will complete this event on your own, at your choice of location (please observe social distancing measures wherever you decide to run/walk/jog/bike). After the event on September 26th, 2020, you will receive a package in the mail from Chappell, Smith & Arden as part of your race experience. All proceeds will go directly to the Ovarian Cancer Coalition of Central South Carolina (OCCCSC). Because this is a virtual event, we ask that you pay your registration fee ($25) when you sign-up for the event. We do not have the ability this year to offer the option to pay the day of. You will not receive the post-race package if you do not submit your registration fee by September, 25th 2020.
